We size the joists and bar grating or B-deck-and-concrete floor to your real loading, whether that's a 125 psf storage rating or heavier point loads from a pallet jack. The plan that gets stamped tells you exactly what each square foot will carry, so nobody guesses with inventory weight.
We lay the column grid around your forklift turning radius and rack runs, not the other way around, so base plates never land mid-aisle or behind a pallet position. A 12 to 20 foot bay spacing keeps the deck stiff while leaving the floor below open for traffic.
Every platform ships with guardrail at the proper height, toe boards along open edges, and stairs pitched for daily foot traffic instead of a ladder you fight with. Where you load pallets up top, we add a swing gate or safety gate so the open edge is never left exposed.
The structure arrives pre-drilled and connects with structural bolts, so your floor goes in with a crew and impact wrenches rather than a welder and hot-work permits. That means a faster install, far less disruption to operations, and a platform you can unbolt and reconfigure if the layout changes.
